I love that the package can be kept in the fridge, it is non toxic and like a stain goes into the wood...I wax where I want to distress before I put it on, sometimes staining dark underneath with an aniline dye that does not seal the wood, or layering & spot waxing multiple coats of different colors...After painting & lightly sanding, apply the top coat of wax or a beeswax oil mixture..BEAUTIFUL.
My shop stool that I use everyday & not too kindly is still as nice or nicer then the day it was finished.
The beauty of this is also the fact that you can order it from a far distance and being a powder it does not cost a fortune to ship.Brenda Wattshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05945958456173988332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964224117445332873.post-25242655624535021562011-07-07T10:48:50.124-07:002011-07-07T10:48:50.124-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Brenda Wattshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05945958456173988332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964224117445332873.post-25352472741381494702011-07-07T09:11:35.307-07:002011-07-07T09:11:35.307-07:00I have never used this paint personally but being ...I have never used this paint personally but being from New England this is a local company for me and of course I see it in use all the time in the many historical buildings etc that surround me here in Boston!carol@cabinetstewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03583480387943412249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964224117445332873.post-6304573737285315112011-07-07T05:41:43.542-07:002011-07-07T05:41:43.542-07:00I have seen it for years, but have never tried it....I have seen it for years, but have never tried it. glad to know that you like it so much. have you tried the popular Annie Sloan's chaulk paint that is all over blogosphere? people rave about it....

happy July!
joanfor the love of a househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13151787635612708698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964224117445332873.post-88638046210337686462011-07-06T22:59:05.118-07:002011-07-06T22:59:05.118-07:00I have not tried; however now I am so intrigued by...I have not tried; however now I am so intrigued by your wonderful examples that I will!!

xoxo
Karena
Art by KarenaKarenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05206642885608991170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4964224117445332873.post-18689261057572670912011-07-06T20:43:21.147-07:002011-07-06T20:43:21.147-07:00I love the look of milk paint.
