Here are a couple of resourses for wonderful linen clothes, bedding and home products:
The first is Hidden Cabin
find them here
Very simple and unique
I am such a push over for European goods,
and their products are so interesting and yet simplistic
How about these for grocery bags or just bags for stuff....which I seem to have too much of
..humm...
not so good
This below is Libeco
This company has a history like no other in the processing of linen fabric
Their linen sheets are the best quality....ever

What a beautiful agenda...I think a guy/boyfriend/husband/new BBF might love this too
And here are the sheets...I can vouch for the quality
I really want to get new sheets, but they are now so soft and wonderful after 3 years....YES...that long

YES YES YES!!! That gorgeous planner would be the perfect gift. I've gotta add that to my list of things to ask for come Christmas. LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your linen sources. I love linen and it seems quite difficult to find good quality fabric. Those bags are wonderful...

Hi and here are a few more facts: Hidden Cabin has a currency converter on their site if you what to see what things will cost US dollars. I think the prices are really reasonable.
ReplyDeleteLibeco can be purchased in the US through many retailers....just google it.
The sheets are expensive but they will last. The pillow shams and cases are also first rate.
Another manufacturer of linen sheets is Matteo. I like their things as well. The difference is Libeco is twice as heavy as Matteo and is a true belgian linen. Some of the Libeco linens have no dyes and are not over processed.
So there you go! I love linen too!
Thanks for the comments and have a wonderful weekend!
xx kelley
OOh...I love the linen floor cushion!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your wonderful resources:)
I just found Libeco in "Belgian Pearls" blog. I don't care what the food tastes like if I sit down to such a beautiful table, I am satisfied.
ReplyDeleteI love Libeco. I really wanted to sell their products in the shop, but there is a store across the street that sells a couple of their items already :(
ReplyDeleteI'm off to check out Hidden Cabin!

I just love your blog and I think your article is so awesome!! I love antiques and what a way to go green!! I think the towels would just be so adorable also. Thanks for sharing the story about how it was made. Makes it that more special! Take care, Fran.
ReplyDeleteAh! I bought the exact same shelves from Target and had the EXACT same problem! I actually tore up my receipt from Target, rolled it into a few small balls and shoved it in the holes on the back of the shelf. Worked like a charm. Great minds.... :)
