Take a peek {http://rusticroosterinteriors.blogspot.com/2010/01/2nd-flip.html} to get inspired again. lol I don't mind if you copy the original. lol Ohhhh I love doing bathrooms... I'm doing 6 of them right now. So fun!!! One of them has a brown & navy toile wallpaper... Love it!!! Design away!!! Good luck! Can't wait to see what you do! :)

  7. Love them all! I had a funny thought when looking at the first few...they remind me of your beloved laundry room sink...wood base/stone top! Based on that thought, you MUST do a wood base/stone top in Ojai. :)

p.s. I'm still in love w/ Kelley & Co Home bathroom! How is the Condo Black Bathroom of H#LL? Any progress?

  8. Oh my that copper bathtub! I just told my husband if I ever win the lottery I want one of those! Of course you have to buy a ticket to win so my chances are pretty slim! Great inspiration!

  11. Hi Kelley,

When I saw the picture of the first bathroom, I thought it looked like you!! Love it and love the symmetry of the room also.

All the images are really beautiful (including the bathroom you left behind). I'm glad you put it in there as it deserves it.

It's nice to see so many images as a lot of the time I don't get to see them in the magazines as they aren't sold here or they are older issues that I don't have.

I have to say that I also love the Molly Frey design and am kicking myself that I didn't think of the 'shadow box' effect behind the sinks, it just adds that little something extra and is a bit left of centre, which I like and you are obviously drawn to too!!!

I know whichever way you go it will be stunning Kelley and will capture the essence of Ojai.

    Will call in again soon.

    Take care

  12. That copper tub is divine! Unfortunately, it'd never work in my house, because carving out the time for a nice soak just never happens. I love the symmetry and the soapstone counters in the first pic. Soapstone is so easily DIYed, too.

  13. I love everything Ginger Barber does but Kelley & Co. isn't bad either! (LOL). I'm sure whatever you choose will look great and I can't wait to see it!

  14. PICK JUST ONE!! impossible but..I love the striped floor in the Ginger Barber - but I love the symmetry in the others and actually my favorite tub is the unknown that you liked too.
Can you put together a "best of?"

  21. Hey kelley! Do u have any recommendations on good shops and restaurants in Newport beach or balboa island? Thanks in advance if so!!!

  22. Note to Grace...I don't have your email but here are a few favorites:

In Corona Del Mar: Javiers, great mexican food and fun loud ambience. If you are there during the day go to Juxtaposition Home for a little design inspiration. Also in CDM: Gulfstream, excellent food and very nice atmosphere with lots of diverse items...always great food! You could also go to the Ruby's Shake Shack on PCH near Laguna or go to the Beachcomber at Crystal Cove which is a state park and very fun to picnic or walk the beach.

In Newport: The Cannery, a perfect beach styled old restaurant. Nice ambience and the food is usually good, service can be slow but there is sushi upstairs too. The Blue Water Grill, very casual but good. Also the famous Crab Cooker. Family style with great seaside food. Near the cannery is Alta Coffee for breakfast. A true locals hang

Some others: On balboa Island, not much really but there is a little mexican place you can just walk into. I can't remember the name but you can't miss it and it is pretty good and quick. Get a Dads frozen banana or Balboa bar and then take the ferry across to the pier and fun zone. Go by car or you can walk. Mostly junk food near the pier but fun to people watch. Good surf is down the way past 34th towards the jettys.

but I bet you already knew that one!

    have fun
