Blogger Botanical Project: Finished!

24 comments:

 OK....so
my idea was to use Barn Wood for the frames
and keep every thing very natural and simple

 frames $12.95 each
 over budget but....I like them

 I used the descriptions
for  a border
cut on the diagonal,
 I know....
but I had tons of these descriptions

 love me some glue stick!
  yea baby
goooo glue
 tore some hemp paper
for the corners,
no cutting needed,
I like it torn and shredded

sort of like photo corners

 like it?

yes I do

quite nice, indeed

 here they are,
showcased
 in the
beautiful guest
"potty room"
in the Ojai house

I'm done....I loved this project!!!!

please
join my friends
 and see their work too

  3. Kelley....those are wonderful. I love how you cut up the descriptions and added the touch of torn paper at the corners. I think I have used those frames before...from Michaels? I dry brushed mine a soft green/blue and put some antique bird prints in them. have a great weekend!

  5. Sorry....I forgot to give you a resource for the frames. I found them on Amazon!

There we many sizes and they are actually well made for $12.95. I purchased a few more so I could do a big grouping.

thanks and so glad you like them too!

  12. Kelley,

I love that you added the handwriting as a mat around the pieces. That adds a really sweet quality to them that balances the dark, rough wood. Really lovely. S.
